WHAT IS THE MEDICARE PAYMENT PLAN? ARE THERE ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS FOR MEDICAID? The Medicaid EHR Incentive Program is voluntarily offered by individual states and territories and may begin as early as 2011, depending on the state. Eligible professionals can receive up to $63,750 over the six years that they choose to participate in the program. WHO CAN RECEIVE PAYMENT? Incentive payments for eligible professionals are based on individual practitioners. If you are part of a practice, each eligible professional may qualify for an incentive
payment if each eligible professional successfully demonstrates meaningful use of certified EHR technology. Each eligible professional is only eligible for one incentive payment per year, regardless of how many practices or locations at which he or she provide services. Rural Health Clinic that is led by a physician assistant. WHAT ARE THE MEDICAID REQUIREMENTS TO QUALIFY? By April 2011, attest to 80% of patients have documentation in certified EHR. 6 By April 2011 attest to meeting Meaningful Use core objective set and menu set of objectives that are specific to eligible professionals . What are the requirements for Stage 1 of Meaningful Use (2011 and 2012)? For eligible professionals, there are a total of 25 meaningful use objectives. To qualify for an incentive payment, 20 of these 25 objectives must be met. There are 15 required core objectives.
The remaining 5 objectives may be chosen from the list of 10 menu set objectives. Facility will sign up for E-Prescribing. The fee for E-Prescribing is $650 annually per 1 Full Time Equivalent. Facility will be billed annually for use of the E-Prescribing features. Facility will research the items to be enforced and direct staff in adhering to requirements. Facility will be managing implemention of the
items to be addressed. Reporting objectives and requirements will be done manually by facility. Requests for customizations or support by CodoniX to meet objectives and requirements will be billed at a rate of $100 per hour. Total Cost = $650 annually plus customizations at $100/per hour WHAT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE IN CODONIX TO BE ELIGIBLE Option #3 CodoniX configured participation in EHR Incentive Program Facility will participate in the EHR Incentive Program.
CodoniX will configure the system and recommend the items you will need to enforce and be compliant with. This package includes: Enrollment in E-Prescribing. The fee for E-Prescribing is $650 annually per 1 Full Time Equivalent. Facility will be billed annually for use of the E-Prescribing features after the first year.
