CIDBs Act 520 (Amendment 2011) Section 33C(1) : The Lembaga shall, in the manner determined by the Lembaga, certify the construction materials used in the construction industry and specified in the Fourth Schedule in accordance with the standard specified in the Schedule. Section 33D(1) : A person shall not deal or undertake to deal, whether directly or indirectly, with the construction materials specified in the Fourth Schedule unless the construction materials have been certified by CIDB. Enforced construction materials shall be listed in the Fourth Schedule of Act 520 (Amendment 2011) . Quality Products must conform to Malaysia Standard (MS) Any person who deal with uncertified materials shall be liable to a fine of not less than RM10,000 but not more than RM500,000. PPS will only be issued to manufacturers that have Product Certification (PC) PC must be issued by accredited CB which recognized by Jabatan Standard Malaysia or CIDB , e.g. SIRIM, IKRAM PPS is valid for ONE YEAR and need to be renewed.
